We’re launching a new book sale!
Come see us at the Corvallis main branch every second Saturday of the month! It’ll be smaller in scale than our regular big ones, but we still hope to see you there!

The Alsea Community Library has a gorgeous new sign thanks to Rolfe Hagen of the Farmer’s Kitchen/Thyme Garden, who created it. It’s visible from Hwy 34 and is two-sided so drivers can see it from both directions!
Alsea Community Effort would like to thank all those involved with getting our old sign replaced with this new artistic sign: Friends of the Corvallis-Benton County Library, Mary Nevin, Weyerhauser, Rolfe and Janet Hagen, Naomi Shadwick, Kathy, Nick and Steven Koetz, Kathy and Phil Plaza, and the ACE Board Members.
We’re so glad you’re interested in being a volunteer! But what exactly do we need help with? We’re glad you asked! Whether you have just a few hours or would like to help on a regular basis, this is the place to sign-up. Book sales? Here. Fundraising? Here. Sorting? Here.
Let us tell you about a number of our on-going needs:
