We are a membership organization that raises money for library services by sponsoring book sales, and other fundraising events. Our membership is open to anyone with a donation of $10 or more.

Our Fundraising Campaign is going on now!

This year the Friends of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library hopes to provide over $92,000 to the library. Our libraries continue to provide services to over 5,500 patrons a day, both in-person and online, who check out materials conduct job research, attend programs, do homework and electronically access a world of information. Our library depends on its Friends to help provide these services.

If you are a current member of the Friends of the Library, thank you for supporting your library and its mission. If you have not renewed your membership in the last twelve months, or want to join the Friends, now is the time to do so. Many members also add an additional donation to their membership to help us reach our financial goals.

Your tax-deductible contribution to the Friends funds many library system projects, including:

  • Adult Cultural Programming, Random Reviews and presentations by visiting authors;
  • Children’s reading programs, concerts and special events like the Teddy Bear Picnic;
