The Friends of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library is an all-volunteer organization committed to supporting the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, including the branches in Alsea, Monroe, Philomath, and the Bookmobile. We provide support for Library services, facilities, and equipment beyond budgeted items and promote the use of the Library as a community resource center.
There are both year-round and event only jobs for Friends’ volunteers. Volunteers:
sort books weekly
transport books to and from the warehouse for sales
set up tables and signs to prepare for sales
cashier at sales
help at special events (appreciation lunch, National Friends celebration, etc.)
We would love to have you volunteer with us. Please contact us by email or at (541) 766-6928 or fill out a Friends membership application.
Volunteers count books at the Big Book Sale. We can always use new volunteers. Let us know on the volunteer page if you would like to help.
